Sonja ensures that Ecogreen Analytics remains the leading cannabis testing laboratory in South and Sub-Saharan Africa by employing her strength in turning the long-term vision of the company into tangible deliverables. Her impeccable ability to navigate risk, strive for quality and manage compliance is what makes her a pivotal part of the team.
Experience:- 23 years in operations and supply chain management.
- Experience in a variety of sectors including banking and medical industries.
Gregory Ondrejkovic
Technical Director
Greg has over two decades’ experience in analytical techniques which include HPLC, GC, GCMS, GCTOF, LCMSMS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS and Ion Chromatography in the pharmaceutical, agricultural, and environmental industry. He combines his extensive experience in laboratories with a love and passion for cannabis. His extensive wealth of knowledge and technical skill makes him integral to the operations of Ecogreen Analytics.
Experience:- 24 years as an analytical chemist.
- Experience in a variety of sectors including pharmaceutical, veterinary, agricultural and environmental analyses.
- Furthering academia by presenting papers to his peers at EU MS in the Netherlands.
- Responsible for method development and ISO17025 accreditation in most laboratories he has worked in.
Mhleli Gumede
Quality Director
Mhleli brings his executive and professional experience to continually participate in the provision of scientific solutions for today’s challenges. Founder of NtsikaTech Solutions, a company that focuses on provision of scientific and analytical solutions to the water and wastewater industry, he carries his expertise and knowledge into the role of Quality Director at Ecogreen Analytics.

Pierre van der Hoven
Non-executive Director
Pierre’s vast portfolio in executive and founding roles within a variety of media companies has built the foundation of a long lasting legacy. Since 2016, Pierre has been increasingly focused on the Cannabis and Hemp industries. In 2018 Pierre wrote a research report for the SA Government on the economic potential of cannabis and hemp for South Africa, after which he started a number of Cannabis companies including AfriCannaBiz (Eastern Cape Cultivator), SilverLeaf Investments (Venture Capital Fund), Baobab Training (AgriSETA accredited Training) and Baobab International, a consulting company.
Experience:- 30 years of entrepreneurial experience.
- GM: Resources at SABC.
- Founder and key player in setting up a number of media companies, including at: YFM, Yarona FM, TBM Communications, SA Direct and Tuluntulu.
- Founding member of the organisation African Cannabis Industry Association (ACIA).
